Puente Romano Beach Resort

Modelled after an Andalucian village, Puente Romano holds one of the best positions on Spain’s Golden Mile, that sought-after stretch of sand that starts in Marbella and extends to Puerto Banus, flanked by some of the most valuable and desirable real estate in Europe.

A member of The Leading Hotels of the World, Puente Romano features spacious, comfortable suites, elegantly appointed with marble floors and traditional regional décor. All enjoy stunning views of the garden or Mediterranean from their private terraces. Many were refurbished in 2021, when the family friendly Deluxe Two Bedroom Suite were introduced. The top-end Grand Suites feature lavish extras like Persian stone bathrooms and wraparound terraces with jacuzzis, while the three exquisite villas range from three to five bedrooms.

Foodies are spoiled here with a choice of 18 bars and restaurants, including a steakhouse from two-Michelin-star chef Dani Garcia, Spain’s first Nobu restaurant, and sophisticated Italian dining at Cipriani. Recent additions include an extension to the terrace at the fine-dining Sea Grill restaurant, which offers mesmerising views of the Mediterranean, and the all-new La Concha, an adults-only lounge with a boho-jungle theme where guests can enjoy cocktails, music and the flavours of Mexico. The choice continues with the international flavours of BiBo, the contemporary dishes of the Chiringuito Puente Romano beach club and the fusion creations at COYA Marbella.

When it comes to relaxing, you’re in safe hands with a Six Senses spa, which offers treatments and facilities to refresh body and mind. Other hotel facilities include several gorgeous swimming pools, clay tennis courts, a health and fitness training facility and a comprehensive kids’ club. Activities range from making your own tapas and vineyard tours to treks along the breathtaking Caminito del Ray, an eight-kilometre walkway suspended 100 metres above a mountain river gorge.
