The Datai Langkawi

Hidden amidst ancient rainforest on a crescent of golden sand, The Datai Langkawi is a luxurious hideaway offering pure escapism. Guests relax on the beach or in the spa, explore land and sea with resident naturalists and marine biologists, or play The Els Club Teluk Datai golf course set between jungle, mountains and ocean.

Set above a secluded cove and nestled in the rainforest, The Datai Langkawi has recently undergone an impressive renovation throughout the resort. Among which includes an entire redesign of the rooms, suites and villas, each now showcasing a new look and feel plus enchanting views of the lush tropical rainforest or the Andaman Sea. Canopy Rooms are located in the main building, gazing out over the treetops while Rainforest Villas are located along a series of pathways, some featuring private pools. Beach Villas with direct access to the beach and crafted from local materials, provide added exclusivity with personal butlers, private pools and sun decks.

Savour authentic Thai cuisine at The Pavilion, an elevated open-air dining venue amid the forest, or try authentic Malay and Indian flavours at The Gulai House. For a relaxed light bite, wood-fired pizza or cocktails, then The Beach Club is the perfect place to sit back and relax, while The Dining Room restaurant offers the ultimate in French fine dining. For an even more tranquil experience, The Spa is beautifully integrated into the lush surroundings and offers a wonderful programme of soothing Ramuan treatments. Recline by the resort’s two swimming pools, one of which offers stunning views through the treetops, or play a round of golf at the adjacent Els Club Teluk Datai.
