Established by music producers Jon Baker and Steve Beaver, Geejam originally began as a rainforest recording studio but has since been transformed into a hip hotel offering stylish, modern and romantic accommodation in a serene jungle setting.
An effortlessly cool hotel perched high in the rainforest with an on-site recording studio that has attracted artists such as The Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, Alicia Keys and Drake.
The hub of the hotel is Bushbar restaurant, which teams an infinity pool with pool tables and a state-of-the-art sound system, and serves up a range of Jamaican fusion fare.
Accommodation includes romantic treetop cabins, some with hot tubs and hammocks, modern art-filled rooms and four sprawling villas that come with their own staff.
The private beach is a supremely peaceful spot, located in a natural cove just steps from the property, where guests can swim, snorkel, kayak and paddleboard.
Massages are available on the beach or in the rooms, there’s a jungle gym for you to get your sweat on, and tours of the recording studio can be arranged when it’s not in use.
