Croatia Hotel Monte Mulini

This adults-only, ultra-luxury hotel enjoys a fabulous waterside location, set into a hillside on the Istrian coast, just a 15-minute walk from Rovinj’s picturesque old town. Warm, earthy tones dominate the guestrooms, all of which have balconies with sea views and Croatian artworks specially commissioned for the hotel. The views from the higher Executive and Deluxe Rooms are particularly impressive.

What we love about Hotel Monte Mulini

A quartet of cascading pools weaves through lush gardens just above Lone Bay’s clear shallows and pebble beach.

Kayaks, paddleboards, sunbeds and shade, all laid on for guests to enjoy the serene sweep of Rovinj’s coastline.

The spa’s Turkish bath and sauna are a welcome retreat, with extra indulgence next door at sister hotel Lone.

Dine on refined Mediterranean plates at Mediterraneo or explore Croatia’s best wine list at the vaulted cellar below.

The beach bar keeps things stylish yet easygoing, with inventive cocktails and light bites served right by the sea.
