Day 1 London to Siem Reap

Fly overnight to Cambodia. Upon arrival in Siem Reap, meet your guide and use the fast-track arrivals service. Soon, you'll be on your way to Zannier Phum Baitang for a three-night stay in peaceful surroundings, ideal for exploration and relaxation.

Days 2-3 Angkor Wat

Spend two full days exploring the majestic temples of Angkor, the largest religious structure in the world. This sprawling ancient site, centred around the towering Angkor Wat, extends deep into the jungle. Some temples have been meticulously restored, while others remain entwined with the elements, creating a dramatic and atmospheric scene.

With private guided tours on both days, you have the flexibility to set your own agenda. Start your day early with a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, then return to your hotel for a restful siesta. Later, head back in the afternoon to appreciate the temples during the magical golden hour.

Discover Ta Prohm, where the jungle has spectacularly claimed the temples, and marvel at the intricate carvings of Bayon. The avenue of statues at Angkor Thom provides a fantastic photo opportunity.

In addition to the temples, you have time to explore the local region. Visit Tonlé Sap Lake and the fishing village of Kampong Phluk to experience rural life in Cambodia.

Days 4-5 Phnom Penh

Travel across the centre of Cambodia to Phnom Penh, the fast-growing capital on the banks of the Mekong River. Stay at the French colonial-style Raffles Le Royal Hotel, a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. This area is perfect for walking and watching the world go by.

Enjoy a private city tour that includes the Central Market and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a sobering but essential reminder of the horrors of the Khmer Rouge regime.

Days 6-8 Shinta Mani Wild

Travel south into the forests of Cambodia and the Cardamom Mountains, where you can experience the unique luxury of Shinta Mani Wild. Designed by Bill Bensley, this extraordinary lodge combines individual design with the wild, akin to a safari lodge but dialled up to a new level. You can even arrive at the lodge via zip wire.

Staying at Shinta Mani Wild directly helps preserve the virgin rainforest, as the lodge has established a large protected area. Naturalists lead wildlife hikes, and guests can join the rangers in their efforts. The chef offers foraging walks to explore the abundant tropical flora, followed by a cooking class.

One highlight is flat-water kayaking on the river, allowing you to explore deeper into the jungle. After kayaking, you can indulge in a riverside barbecue arranged by the butler. At Shinta Mani Wild, all food and activities are included, ensuring a memorable experience in this unique setting.

Days 9-13 Koh Rong

Continue south to the coast and take a short speedboat ride to Koh Rong Island. Cambodia's small islands offer peaceful beach retreats amid the emerald waters of the Gulf of Thailand. Stay at the Royal Sands Koh Rong, located on a long white sandy beach in one of the spacious villas. It’s an ideal place to relax after a busy journey, enjoy good food and drinks, and explore the island's small villages and hidden coves.

Days 14 Final Day

Return to Phnom Penh and depart on an overnight flight to London. Should you wish, we can easily arrange stopovers in Singapore or the Gulf.
